Fred F. & Norman J. Bruning American Legion Post #607 (a.k.a. Breda Legion Hall)
In 2013, the Breda Legion nearly doubled the size of its banquet hall by rehabbing and re-purposing the former "Zeke's Restaurant" building next to it. The two structures have now been connected and provide 7,500 square feet of space for rental with the capacity to seat 530 people. The Breda Legion features two bars, updated & ADA-compliant restrooms, handicap accessible entrance/exit, and an improved catering set-up. But perhaps the crown jewel of the increased space is the addition of an impressive patriotic mural painted by artist Ray "Bubba" Sorenson - known nationally for his yearly murals painted on the "Freedom Rock." Overall, the Breda Legion is the perfect setting for wedding receptions, anniversary parties, or any other gathering large or small. Be sure to check the Legion calendar for rental availability (link to Calendar). To make your reservation, call Arnie at 712-830-8762. Additionally, the hall is regularly opened for fellowship, and also hosts frequent Euchre and Poker tournaments.
